Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insurance companies to facilitate medication approvals and prior authorizations
• Navigate pharmacy operating systems to enter data and adjudicate test claims
• Document patient concerns, prior authorization status, and financial assistance needs
• Collaborate with physicians' offices to ensure patients receive optimal care
• Provide compassionate phone support to patients regarding refills and medication adherence
• Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy liaisons to deliver integrated patient care
• Research and investigate information to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of all patient communications and case activity

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• National certification (CPhT or equivalent) required
• State registered or state certified as a Pharmacy Technician where applicable
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong computer and data entry skills
