Chain Protocol Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive full lifecycle of Cosmos SDK / Tendermint modules: design, implement, customize, and maintain modules with direct consensus and networking impact.
• Engineer EVM-compatible capabilities on Evmos: precompiles, fee markets, state logic, and cross-layer behaviors.
• Implement and operate BNB Greenfield storage integrations including permissions, cross-chain flows, and app-level patterns.
• Manage chain upgrades, hotfixes, parameter changes via governance, migration tooling, and multi-environment execution.
• Own stack reliability and node operations: RPC tuning, pruning/sync strategies, indexing, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Build and maintain CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, test harnesses, and rehearsals for upgrades and migrations.
