Chartering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead chartering activities, identifying and securing marine assets required for various projects.
• Negotiate charters and manage ongoing relationships with ship owners and brokers.
• Ensure all chartering operations adhere to company strategies and compliance standards.
• Analyze market trends and develop effective chartering strategies.
• Oversee the execution of contracts from negotiation through to completion.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align chartering strategies with project requirements.
• Support fleet optimization and cost management efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in chartering or shipping operations, preferably in the offshore or marine industry
• Strong knowledge of chartering regulations, market dynamics, and vessel types
• Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with ship owners and brokers
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
