Job description

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally via live chat and messaging platforms
  • Resolve product, service, and account-related questions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle multiple simultaneous chat conversations while maintaining quality
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary
  • Log all chat interactions in the CRM or helpdesk system accurately
  • Contribute to the improvement of chat scripts, FAQs, and support documentation
  • Meet response time targets and customer satisfaction (CSAT) score benchmarks

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in live chat support, customer service, or a similar role
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 45 WPM)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple chats simultaneously
  • Familiarity with helpdesk or chat tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, or Freshchat
  • Patient, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection
  • Matric certificate
