Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a regional information security strategy for Binance UAE.
  • Implement and lead the IT Security Risk Management function aligned with UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards and governance processes.
  • Act as Binance UAE's primary security contact for UAE regulators and deliver regulatory reporting.
  • Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling, pen testing oversight and incident response.
  • Manage third‑party security risk, integrations and vendor due diligence.
  • Prepare board updates, regulatory reports and respond to internal/external audits.
  • Build, mentor and grow a local security team while coordinating with global security functions.
  • Align controls with international frameworks (ISO 27001/27701, NIST, CIS, PCI‑DSS) and local rules.
  • Drive resilience and secure design across products and operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with virtual asset or crypto platforms
  • Proven senior/regulatory‑approved role within a regulated financial institution
  • Strong international and multicultural exposure
  • Track record delivering technical security programmes end‑to‑end
  • Advanced certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CIPP, CIPM, GIAC, CREST
  • Experience with cloud security, incident orchestration and SOC operations
  • Familiarity with UAE financial and virtual assets regulatory frameworks
