About the Company

Bio is a decentralized science protocol that helps launch and grow AI-driven biotech research. It enables scientists to raise funds, create value from their work, and distribute that value directly to their communities. Since 2023, Bio has directed over $50m to global researchers, offering an alternative to traditional pharma funding.

Responsibilities

• Own Bio’s portfolio-level scientific direction and prioritize projects
• Translate AI-generated hypotheses into experimental lab validation
• Build scalable processes for scientific diligence and risk assessment
• Recruit and mentor world-class researchers into the Bio ecosystem
• Represent Bio's scientific credibility to academics, investors, and partners
• Develop AI-driven workflows for research review and synthesis
• Lead and grow the internal Science team

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent scientific depth
• Meaningful exposure to the drug development and approval process (preclinical, IND-enabling, clinical, or regulatory stages)
• Senior scientific leadership experience, ideally with portfolio-level exposure
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory risk and translational challenges
• Track record of leading or advising scientific teams
• Interest in AI-native approaches to scientific research
