Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year technology roadmap and architecture strategy
• Lead a distributed engineering organization across the US and India
• Evaluate and evolve the technology stack for scalability, security, and reliability
• Partner with Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership on strategic planning
• Oversee security, compliance (SOC II), and engineering KPIs
• Manage engineering budget, headcount planning, and vendor contracts

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in senior technology leadership (CTO or equivalent) at a SaaS company
• Proven experience leading global/distributed engineering teams (ideally including India)
• Experience scaling engineering organizations from startup to mid-market
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling AI/ML-powered product features
• Strong technical foundation in modern web architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and APIs
• Ability to work in the US (cannot accommodate scholastic or employment visas)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with M&A technical due diligence
• Experience with platform migrations or major re-architecture projects
