Responsibilities

• Simultaneously serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis
• Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
• Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner healthcare treatment teams
• Determine appropriate and least restrictive levels of care for patients in acute crisis

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
• Unrestricted, independent licensure
• Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
• Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups, including children and adolescents
• Experience treating patients in acute crisis within 24/7 settings
• Advanced technical proficiency with Windows systems, Microsoft software, and multiple EMRs
• Ability to maintain a private office space for patient confidentiality
