Civil Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of civil litigation cases from filing to closure
• Draft, prepare, and summarize discovery documents independently
• Prepare pleadings, motions, deposition notices, and subpoenas
• Own and track all court-related deadlines and ensure timely filing and service
• Utilize Clio and EVE AI tools to enhance drafting and workflow
• Prepare medical summaries and organize supporting documentation
• Manage service of documents and filing workflows
• Coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely notes and deadline compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal
• Strong focus on discovery and document preparation
• Proficiency with legal software such as Clio and AI tools
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with legal teams
• High attention to detail for complex legal tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with California state courts
• Experience with federal court
