Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, providing guidance and updates
  • Evaluate policy coverage and advocate for optimal client outcomes
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of claims from initial report to final resolution
  • Collaborate with insurers, underwriters, and external adjusters to negotiate settlements
  • Conduct new business claims audits for newly acquired clients
  • Educate clients on claims administration, coverage nuances, and risk management
  • Leverage technology and partner with product teams to streamline claims handling
  • Provide data-driven insights on claims trends and risk mitigation

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in claims handling and claims advocacy
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lines claims and complex coverage nuances
  • Significant experience in policy interpretation and claims negotiation
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Tech-savvy mindset comfortable with digital-first environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adjuster’s License
  • Certifications related to claims management or risk mitigation (e.g., AIC, CPCU)
