About the Company

Atticus is a certified B Corporation on a mission to tear down barriers between people in crisis and the aid they deserve. We connect people with disabilities to government benefits and help victims of accidents, misconduct, and violence access insurance compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients via phone to understand their situations and determine eligibility for aid
  • Advise clients on next steps regarding disability benefits or insurance compensation
  • Navigate internal tech platforms and tools such as Salesforce
  • Handle deeply personal and sensitive conversations with empathy and efficiency
  • Manage a high volume of unique client interactions weekly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university
  • At least 1 year of professional working experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to support people in crisis while maintaining conversation momentum
  • Strong writing skills and ability to master complex topics quickly
  • Strong work ethic and ability to juggle competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume, high-performing service, sales, or support team
  • Socially-focused internship or significant volunteer experience
