Client Partner - Grocery

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of the largest and most strategic grocery relationships.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with grocery partners, focusing on long-term, mutual growth.
• Lead and manage a team of Account Managers to pitch, negotiate, and onboard new grocery partners onto the Deliveroo platform.
• Deliver annual objectives by tracking joint plan implementation, controlling expenditure, and course-correcting as needed.
• Work cross-functionally to maximize account potential.
• Own the contract negotiation and renewal process to unlock mutual value.
• Create and maintain an inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Support business leaders in shaping the longer-term commercial strategy and partner value proposition for relevant grocery segments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading account management, business development, or commercial teams.
• Proven track record of revenue growth in account-facing roles, including new business development.
• Experience in the grocery industry is required.
• Ability to define and implement a B2B partner-focused plan with creative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communication skills with the aptitude to engage different audiences.
• Experience managing complex partners or portfolios, including high-value commercial negotiations.
• Team player with a win-win/can-do attitude.
