Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Account Managers to pitch, negotiate, and onboard new grocery partners onto the platform
- Define and execute joint business plans for your portfolio of grocery partners, ensuring Deliveroo is the preferred partner
- Deliver Deliveroo’s annual objectives by tracking plan implementation, controlling expenditure, and identifying interventions to course-correct under-performing areas
- Work cross-functionally to maximise the potential of accounts
- Own the contract negotiation and renewal process with grocery partners to agree on terms that unlock mutual value
- Create an inclusive, multi-functional team culture that drives engagement and high-performance
- Support business leaders in setting longer-term commercial strategy and partner value proposition for relevant grocery segments
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading an account management, business development, or commercial team
- Experience in the grocery industry
- Proven track record of revenue growth in account-facing roles, including new business development
- Capability to define and implement a B2B partner-focused plan, developing creative solutions to complex problems
- Strong, structured communication skills adaptable to different audiences
- Experience managing a complex partner portfolio, including high-value commercial negotiations
- Team player with a win-win, can-do attitude
