Climate Change Advisor/Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience.
• Contribute to the design of training curricula and capacity-building materials.
• Co-develop and deliver training sessions in collaboration with the Lead Researcher.
• Draft technical case studies or best practices papers based on professional experience.
• Offer advisory input and conduct technical reviews of project outputs.
• Ensure gender, social inclusion, and conflict sensitivity are integrated into all project outputs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Climate Studies, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Policy, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in climate change, adaptation/mitigation, or environmental consultancy.
• Proven experience in training delivery, curriculum development, and capacity building.
• Familiarity with climate advocacy processes and policy frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate gender and social inclusion into projects.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
