Clinical Provider IBCLC

Responsibilities

• Provide direct lactation consultation services via secure virtual platforms to prenatal and postpartum women
• Conduct professional services consultations via telehealth to assess patients and provide education on lactation, infant feeding, and maternal mental health
• Document findings in exam forms and provide proper resources to patients
• Schedule patient follow-up appointments and make necessary referrals to outside providers
• Review patient intake forms and complete virtual physical evaluations
• Conduct Perinatal Mental Health Assessments using standardized instruments
• Develop individual Care Plans including written instructions and follow-up plans
• Complete all clinical documentation on the same day as the appointment

Requirements

• Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in good standing
• 3 years of direct clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CLC/IBCLC
• High School Diploma (Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred)
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, HIPAA, and EHR data management
• Ability to work a weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active MMIS (State Medicaid) Credentials
