Clinical Provider NP/IBCLC

Responsibilities

• Conduct lactation-related clinical assessments and professional services consultations via telehealth
• Oversee remote patient monitoring for blood pressure and gestational diabetes
• Administer CPOE orders and screen for maternal mental health using standardized instruments
• Provide patient education on lactation, infant feeding, hypertension, and nutrition
• Document all findings, evaluations, and assessments in the EHR on the same day as the appointment
• Develop individual care plans including written instructions and follow-up schedules
• Manage referrals and coordination of care with outside providers

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
• Professional licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing
• Professional certification as an IBCLC or CLC in good standing
• 3 years of direct clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CLC/IBCLC
• Knowledge of HIPAA, EHR data management, and clinical documentation standards
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Active MMIS (State Medicaid) Credentials
