Clinical Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide direct lactation consultation services via secure virtual platforms to prenatal and postpartum women
• Conduct professional services consultations via telehealth to assess patients and provide education on lactation, infant feeding, and maternal mental health
• Document findings in exam forms and provide proper resources to patients
• Schedule patient follow-up appointments and make necessary referrals to outside providers
• Review patient intake forms and complete virtual physical evaluations
• Conduct Perinatal Mental Health Assessments using standardized instruments
• Develop individual Care Plans including written instructions and follow-up plans
• Complete all clinical documentation on the same day as the appointment

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
• Professional certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in good standing
• 3 years of direct clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CLC
• Knowledge of HIPAA, EHR data management, and clinical documentation standards
• Ability to work a weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Strong active listening and written/oral communication skills
