Cloud Architect (Trading)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable cloud infrastructure to meet trading business requirements
• Ensure infrastructure security and regulatory compliance across environments
• Architect and optimise Kubernetes-based container platforms and cluster management
• Collaborate with engineering, trading and operations teams to integrate infrastructure with trading systems
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and apply optimisations for high-throughput, low-latency systems
• Maintain documentation of designs, configurations and processes
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and disaster recovery planning

• Trading systems experience
• Bachelor/Master degree (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing data-intensive, large-scale trading data platforms
• Proven background with financial services workflows (trading, middle/back office)
• Hands-on with Terraform and IaC tooling
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate
• Prior exposure to high-frequency trading or market-making environments
• Familiarity with Rust in trading contexts is a plus
