Cloud Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work across the Linux stack from kernel, networking, and storage to applications
• Design and deliver open source code in Python
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions using OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark on-premises or in public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Coach colleagues and grow a collaborative engineering culture
• Travel globally up to 25% for internal and external events

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field
• Sound knowledge of cloud technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph)
• Practical Linux and networking knowledge
• Intermediate to Advanced Python programming
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Strong organisational skills and reliability
• Second language (optional)
