Cloud Field Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services
• Solve customer problems by acting as a trusted advisor and promoting technologies
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and measure team health indicators
• Represent the team and products to stakeholders, partners, and customers
• Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects
• Collaborate with the leadership team to drive organizational practices

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud computing (Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph)
• Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
• Experience in technical presales
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Exceptional academic track record
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish or French
• Python knowledge
• Experience collaborating with external partners
• Experience providing stakeholder feedback for engineering roadmaps
