Cloud Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration, installation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices
• Design, implement, and support network components within Azure, OCI, and GCP cloud platforms
• Implement cloud security best practices and identity and access management (IAM)
• Perform network maintenance, system upgrades, patches, and security configurations
• Monitor network performance, system availability, resource utilization, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
• Extensive experience with Terraform and AWS Security group deployment via Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience with EKS Clusters
• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience configuring Cisco IPsec, Firewall, IPS, route-maps, and NACLs

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Fundamentals, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Certifications
• CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP certifications
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
