Cloud Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis, containment, and response to security incidents in AWS native cloud environments
• Develop, optimize, and automate incident response playbooks and security controls
• Define and report operational metrics for SOC/SecOps performance
• Improve policies and incident response plans based on post-mortem analyses
• Develop automations for operational tasks to increase security process efficiency

Requirements

• Practical experience with incident response and security operations in AWS
• Proficiency in automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience configuring security tools such as SIEM, EDR, WAF, CSPM, DLP, CASB, or IDS/IPS
• Practical application of MITRE ATT&CK or NIST CSF frameworks
• Experience with Git and code versioning for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Integration and orchestration of incident responses using SOAR solutions
• Practical experience in cloud computer forensics
• Development of custom scripts for monitoring and threat hunting
• Experience with security automation in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Knowledge of compliance controls such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and LGPD
