Cluster Assistant IT Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems.
• Support critical hotel systems (e.g., Property Management, Point of Sale, key card access, IP telephony, CCTV, and guest Wi-Fi).
• Enforce cybersecurity protocols, ensure data backups, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Provide IT support across departments, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on IT systems and policies.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and corporate IT teams for support and system upgrades.
• Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, and asset inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation for critical system issues and emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of IT management experience (preferably hospitality)
• Strong knowledge of hospitality software systems, networks, servers, Windows environments, and cloud services
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection laws, and disaster recovery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Vendor and budget management

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality IT
• Knowledge of UAE data protection laws
• Experience with cloud migrations
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
