Job description

Responsibilities

  • Review submitted CNC job packs to confirm authenticity and technical relevance
  • Verify that documentation (engineering drawings, G-code, setup sheets, etc.) is complete and belongs to the same production workflow
  • Evaluate the quality of technical artifacts including CAD/CAM files, tool lists, and process plans
  • Identify and flag missing, generic, or AI-generated files
  • Detect and flag confidential or sensitive company information for redaction
  • Provide quality assessments and recommendations (accept, reject, or request more information)

Requirements

  • Direct experience in CNC manufacturing, CNC programming, machining, or manufacturing quality control
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T/tolerances
  • Practical knowledge of CNC setup sheets, machining instructions, and CAD/CAM workflows
  • Familiarity with G-code, NC files, and tooling lists
  • Experience with shop-floor documentation such as job cards, inspection reports, or CMM reports
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear written feedback in English
  • Availability for part-time, project-based work
