Cold Email Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own client campaign performance, deliverability, and retention
• Act as the primary point of contact for 20–30 active clients
• Diagnose and optimize underperforming campaigns and inbox placement
• Manage technical infrastructure including DNS setup, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Write and refine cold email copy to improve open and reply rates
• Build and improve delivery documentation, SOPs, and playbooks
• Collaborate with developers and outreach teams to scale operations

Requirements

• Experience in cold email agencies, lead generation, or outbound sales environments
• Hands-on expertise in cold email strategy, deliverability, and warm-up systems
• Strong copywriting ability for outbound campaigns
• Technical understanding of APIs, automations, and workflows
• Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude
• Strong communication and client management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Instantly, Smartlead, Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, or Outreach
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Zapier, Make, and webhooks
• Background in SaaS or scaling outbound systems for startups
