Responsibilities

• Collaborate with highly-experienced, highly-trained, and compassionate PMHNPs
• Conduct regular chart reviews and provide guidance on clinical decisions and patient care
• Approve and send prescriptions through our EMR & eRX system
• Mentor other psychiatric providers to ensure high-quality care
• Contribute to the mission of making psychiatric care more accessible

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Texas
• Active, unrestricted DEA license in Texas
• Board certification or board eligibility as a psychiatrist
• Primary residence in Texas
• Ability to remotely supervise nurse practitioners and conduct chart reviews
• Availability by phone during PMHNPs' working hours as required by state rules
• Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
• Proficiency with technology and electronic health record systems
