Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the fired-equipment specialist/engineer for end-user customers while based in Abu Dhabi, supporting regional and international accounts.
  • Diagnose fired equipment (furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators) for mechanical integrity, operational suitability, and remaining useful life.
  • Troubleshoot failures and malfunctions; engineer technical and operational solutions to restore or improve performance.
  • Recommend maintenance scopes, review completed maintenance, and advise on spare parts and sparing levels.
  • Conduct heater and furnace preliminary surveys; generate pre-turnaround scopes and reports.
  • Support site commissioning and startup: review received equipment, verify installation/alignment, assist during commissioning.
  • Coordinate Zeeco subject-matter experts, applications, and project teams to develop complete solutions and expedite responses.
  • Identify business opportunities, build relationships with decision makers, support agent productivity, and help secure orders.
  • Provide customer training and technical presentations; collect market intelligence and product feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Work within Zeeco HSE and Quality systems and be available for site visits and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or technical engineering qualification in mechanical/process engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with combustion systems and fired equipment in refining, petrochemical, or related industries.
  • Practical commissioning and on-site troubleshooting experience.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with end users, present to technical and non-technical audiences, and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-starter able to operate independently and under pressure; willing to travel for customer support and extended assignments when required.
