Job description

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including master agreements, reseller agreements, and data processing agreements
  • Manage complex negotiations with enterprise customers and technology partners
  • Provide practical, solution-oriented guidance to the business
  • Partner with Legal Operations to develop contract templates, playbooks, and standardized forms
  • Advise on data privacy and security terms within commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with internal security and compliance teams to align contractual commitments with security posture

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state
  • 3-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
  • Experience supporting sales and GTM teams in a technology environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate remotely and asynchronously across time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to AI-related contractual and regulatory issues
  • Prior experience at a cybersecurity company or reseller
  • Experience negotiating enterprise agreements with Fortune 500 counterparties
  • Familiarity with channel and partner agreements, including reseller and MSP structures
