Job description
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical resource for the sales team, accompanying executives on client calls and demonstrations
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client business needs and infrastructure
- Design and architect customized internet and networking solutions
- Develop technical proposals, solution diagrams, bills of material (BOMs), and statements of work (SOWs)
- Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilot projects
- Provide technical training and enablement to the sales team
- Facilitate technical handoffs from sales to implementation teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in a pre-sales technical role within commercial telecommunications
- Experience with internet access technologies like DIA, Fiber Broadband, and Fixed Wireless
- Proficiency in networking technologies including SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Knowledge of switching, firewall technologies, and cloud connectivity
- Experience with wireless networking and network monitoring tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP)
- Fortinet NSE or Palo Alto PCNSE certifications
- CompTIA Network+ or MEF Certifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 10% for client meetings and events
