Commissioning Client Manager - Data Center

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client point of contact for data center commissioning programs or portfolios
• Partner with Project Managers and Commissioning leaders to support project execution, staffing strategies, and delivery planning
• Understand client standards, operational priorities, and long-term programs to proactively support their needs
• Develop client-specific communication plans and provide regular updates on project status and performance
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts by introducing additional commissioning or lifecycle services
• Lead efforts with group leadership to secure repeat work through exceptional client service
• Manage client expectations, support issue resolution, and address concerns in coordination with internal leaders
• Incorporate client feedback to improve service delivery and internal processes
• Represent Olsson as a trusted advisor through clear communication and technical understanding

Requirements

• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
• Experience supporting complex projects, preferably within data centers, commissioning, or mission-critical facilities
• Ability to translate technical activities into clear, client-focused messaging
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of eight years of progressive client or project experience
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical data center systems is strongly valued
• Willingness to occasionally support client meetings, site visits, or travel as needed
