Community Experience Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term Community Experience strategy
• Manage and develop the Community Program Specialist and Community Operations Associate
• Act as the primary point of contact for Community-related initiatives across the organization
• Own reporting on Community engagement, member satisfaction, and program impact
• Set the roadmap for major strategic initiatives like ambassador programs and knowledge hubs
• Manage the Community experience function's budget

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community management, program or operations management, or a related field
• At least 2 years in a people-management or team-lead capacity
• Proven experience setting strategy and translating it into an executable roadmap
• Hands-on understanding of online community platforms (e.g., Discourse, Circle, Slack, Discord)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling community-led growth or ambassador programs
• Experience with data visualization or engagement analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Background in budget management
• Knowledge of behavioral psychology or engagement strategies
• Experience operating in a multi-market, distributed organization
