Complaints Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

• Respond to regulatory and customer complaints accurately and timely
• Identify potential regulatory risks and formulate recommendations
• Work directly with regulators to resolve escalated issues
• Monitor complaint feeds daily to ensure deadline compliance
• Open and document complaint cases using GRC tools
• Prepare trend and root cause analysis reports for stakeholders
• Develop internal processes, procedures, and job aids
• Support and coach analysts on complex matters
• Maintain knowledge of regulations including Regulation E, Truth in Savings, UDAAP, FACTA, Reg Z, and Reg B

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial services compliance experience in complaint management
• Proficient knowledge of deposit, privacy, and lending compliance laws
• Strong investigative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret governmental laws and regulatory guidance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
