Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions via a virtual classroom using video, audio, chat, and a whiteboard
• Utilize the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking skills
• Help students develop problem-solving abilities and reach their educational goals

Requirements

• Subject matter expertise or advanced knowledge in Computer Science
• Access to reliable, high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment
• Reliable laptop or desktop with working camera and microphone
• Ability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during fall and spring semesters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to receive payments via PayPal

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in teaching methodology or instruction
• Experience tutoring at the college level (e.g., math lab, writing center, or learning lab)
• History of excellent grades in undergraduate or graduate studies
