Connectivity Engineer (Rust)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain exchange connectors using REST and WebSocket APIs
• Integrate new trading venues into the existing system
• Support and improve live trading infrastructure
• Monitor production systems to ensure stability and performance
• Potential future involvement in backtest tuning, strategy research, and ML tooling

Requirements

• Experience with Rust (or a strong backend background with a willingness to learn Rust)
• Proven experience building API integrations and connectors
• Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP and WebSocket
• Strong understanding of asynchronous systems
• Familiarity with exchange mechanics, such as order flow and latency
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and production-grade code
• A strong desire to develop expertise in algorithmic trading

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the crypto ecosystem
• Experience building trading bots or exchange integrations
• Background in developing low-latency or high-load systems
