Responsibilities

  • Create unique content for long and short form content, including but not limited to websites, blogs, eBooks, white papers, newsletters, videos, press releases, advertisements, emails and more.
  • Collaborate with our tight-knit marketing and creative teams to make progress on projects that are meaningful for both our community and our company.
  • Use research on the latest industry trends and customer issues to suggest content marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize SEO keywords to create enhanced written content.
  • Follow style guidelines to ensure consistency across websites.

Skills

  • Ability to distill complex technical subjects into simple benefits-driven copy.
  • Ability to succinctly communicate broad subjects according to the most powerful selling points.
  • Creative writer who can take strategic direction and form that into creative and compelling copy.
  • Deadline driven and ability to deliver on time.
  • Passionate and can hold and defend opinions.

Experience and Qualification

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in writing for or about banking, payments or fintech audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience writing in American-style English.
