Consultant Medical Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients presenting with oncological conditions through detailed medical histories and examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic investigations such as imaging, biopsies, and laboratory tests
• Design personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
• Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed
• Manage treatment-related adverse effects and provide supportive care
• Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols
• Participate in research, education, and continuous professional development

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Consultant Medical Oncologist within a private healthcare setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of oncology treatments, protocols, and patient management
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of oncology innovations
• High professional and ethical standards with a patient-centric approach
