Consultant Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed neurological assessments and examinations
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic investigations such as EEG, MRI, CT scans, and lumbar punctures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans for patients with neurological conditions
• Provide expert consultation and advice to patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and legal standards
• Participate in clinical audits, governance activities, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and support junior medical staff and contribute to their education and training

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Consultant Neurologist, preferably in a private hospital setting
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological disorders
• Excellent skills in interpreting neuroimaging and electrophysiological studies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team engagement
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and clinical governance
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and upholding medical ethics
