Consultant Neurosurgeon

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of neurological patients and develop tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Perform a broad spectrum of neurosurgical procedures including brain, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgeries.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure meticulous post-operative care and follow-up to monitor patient progress and manage complications.
• Adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international best practices in neurosurgery.
• Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to research and education initiatives within the hospital.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited residency in Neurosurgery.
• Significant experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon, preferably in hospital or clinical settings.
• Strong proficiency in advanced neurosurgical procedures and techniques.
• Excellent understanding of neuroanatomy and pathophysiology.
• Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments and comply with UAE medical standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team engagement.
• Commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous professional development.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE and work within a government hospital system.
