About the Company
The Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) Migrant Workers Programme works with businesses, civil society, and governments to promote the rights of migrant workers. Through initiatives like the Dhaka Principles and the Responsible Recruitment Register, IHRB seeks to ensure migrant workers are treated with dignity and that recruitment costs are borne by employers rather than workers.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a comprehensive review of recruitment policies for 5,000 companies and 250 industry associations.
- Collate company data into a database to support advocacy campaigns, including contact details and specific policy markers.
- Review existing entries in the Responsible Recruitment Register to identify policy updates, changes, or gaps.
- Develop transparent and consistent removal criteria for companies, associations, and recruitment agencies from the Register.
- Design a simple, published channel for stakeholders to raise concerns regarding listings.
Requirements
- Demonstrable expert-level understanding of migrant rights and labour migration.
- Proven experience with the private sector and Business and Human Rights frameworks.
- Extensive experience conducting large-scale research reviews and policy analysis.
- Excellent written and editing skills in English.
- Ability to complete the full scope of work by October 31st, 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering similar research projects for international organizations or NGOs.
