Consultor PEC - Diagnóstico de implementación del Grupo de Washington en censos y encuestas de ALC

Responsibilities

• Develop a regional mapping of disability variable implementation in censuses and household surveys in LAC
• Conduct critical reviews of questionnaires, field manuals, and methodological documentation
• Design and lead qualitative consultation processes with national statistical offices
• Systematize qualitative findings through thematic analysis
• Identify, process, and analyze microdata to estimate disability prevalence
• Compare results between countries and statistical operations
• Produce technical reports, tables, graphs, and maps for technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Master's degree in statistics, economics, sociology, demography, public health, public policy, social sciences, or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in the design, analysis, or evaluation of censuses and household surveys
• Experience in quantitative microdata analysis and applied qualitative research
• Experience working with national statistical offices or other data producers in LAC
• Advanced proficiency in one of the following: Stata, R, or Python
• Ability to produce clear data visualizations
• Ability to write rigorous technical reports in Spanish (English is a plus)
• Fluency in Spanish and English
