Content Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Run rigorous ingest QC, onboarding independent film and episodic titles, including video, related assets, and metadata
• Supervise and monitor proprietary cloud-based asset processing and delivery to video streaming platforms
• Contribute to help resources by writing help articles and making tutorial videos
• Evaluate current product work with the development team to improve user experience
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) in film industry post production, video quality control, and/or content operations
• Knowledge of video codecs (DNxHD/HR, ProRes, bit rates, resolution, aspect ratios)
• Understanding of audio file processing (clipping, export, routing, loudness, metering)
• Knowledge of image processing basics like cropping and scaling
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and project management tools
• Strong written communication skills for support articles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with broadcast formats and delivery specifications
• Experience with file-based QC tools like Baton or Dalet
• Proficiency with audio NLE tools like Pro Tools, Nuendo, or Logic Pro
• Proficiency with video NLE software like Avid, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with FFmpeg
• Comfort using Mac and Linux command line
