Contracts Attorney

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to negotiate customer agreements
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on contract terms, risk allocation, and compliance
• Identify legal and operational risks and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain and improve standard contract templates and negotiation playbooks
• Assist with customer and vendor contract management
• Support due diligence efforts with prospects and clients

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing
• 2–5 years of experience practicing commercial contract law
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating SaaS or enterprise software agreements
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with privacy and data security provisions (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Experience with enterprise customers and complex commercial negotiations
• Experience with intellectual property issues for SaaS companies
• Experience working in the healthcare sector
