Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from proposal support through award, execution, modification, and closeout
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and NDAs
• Interpret and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and customer-specific contractual requirements
• Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to review solicitations and identify contractual risks
• Advise Program Managers and functional leaders on contractual obligations, deliverables, and compliance
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve contractual issues
• Maintain contract records and internal controls to support audits and regulatory compliance
• Develop and improve scalable contract management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Law, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience managing government contracts within defense, aerospace, or federal technology sectors
• Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and U.S. Government contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ)
• Experience supporting proposal development, contract negotiations, and program execution
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OTAs, SBIR/STTR programs, and export controls (ITAR/EAR)
• Experience in DCAA-compliant environments
• NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM)
