Control Desk Operator/Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute critical, time-sensitive manual workflows including resolving trading instruments and performing manual ledger reconciliations
• Action, review, and reconcile daily transactions including ACH deposits, wire transfers, and withdrawals
• Process manual KYC/KYB applications and conduct deep-dive AML research to prevent fraud
• Serve as the investigative backbone for the CX team by researching transaction logs and data feeds
• Identify process inefficiencies and partner with engineers to automate repetitive workflows
• Maintain real-time communication across the Control Desk, developers, external data vendors, and senior management
• Monitor compliance with rules governing FCMs and intermediaries and stay current on CFTC regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in clearing, settlement, reconciliation, or financial operations
• Familiarity with CFTC regulations, particularly Part 38 (DCM) and Part 39 (DCO)
• Strong working knowledge of KYC, KYB, AML, and fraud prevention workflows
• Proven track record with ACH, wire transfers, and withdrawal processing
• Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, SQL, and databases
• Ability to write clear process documentation and technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a fintech, crypto exchange, or prediction market platform
• Familiarity with stablecoin or on-chain settlement mechanics
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to scope and ship operational automations
• SQL or basic scripting ability
