Control-M Operations Engineer - Remote (Part Time)

Responsibilities

• Create, configure and manage Control-M jobs, folders and workflows
• Define job parameters, conditions, dependencies, calendars and cyclic rules
• Configure notifications, alerts and job priority rules
• Monitor job execution using Control-M Enterprise Manager (EM)
• Troubleshoot job failures, perform timely reruns and ensure SLA adherence
• Coordinate Linux-based command jobs; review logs, exit codes and permissions
• Validate job flows with business stakeholders and support UAT cycles
• Prepare runbooks, job inventories and dependency maps; support operational handover

Requirements

• 3–5 years Control-M
• Control-M EM
• Job scheduling
• Smart Folders
• Linux / Shell
• Shell scripting
• SLA adherence
• English communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecom environments
• Control-M Administrator / Operator certification
• Experience with workload migrations (Phase I / Phase II)
• Prior work with distributed/remote teams
• Strong documentation and process discipline
