Core Product Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the Core PM team, including hiring, coaching, and running performance cycles
• Set the product strategy across Core products like Platform, Databases, Auth, Storage, Functions, and Realtime
• Make cross-product prioritization calls to ensure product surfaces reinforce each other
• Coach PMs on customer evidence, problem definition, and success metrics
• Represent Core in leadership meetings, translating engineering reality into strategic stories

Requirements

• Experience managing product managers at a Director level or equivalent
• 8+ years of product management experience in developer tools or infrastructure
• Technical proficiency in reading architecture docs and discussing distributed systems or databases
• Proven track record of shipping products in the Postgres, database, or developer-infrastructure space
• Ability to work asynchronously and make decisions in writing
• Bias toward speed and effective use of AI tools to accelerate workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with open-source go-to-market strategies
• Ex-founder background with deep technical infrastructure experience
