Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on employment and labor law issues including hiring, performance management, and discharge
  • Manage litigation and oversee employee form agreements
  • Conduct training across all company geographies
  • Supervise outside counsel and liaise with local counsel
  • Draft and maintain global employment policies including ethics, anti-corruption, and anti-harassment
  • Support the human resources team through operational guidance and process training
  • Stay informed on employment and labor law issues affecting the organization

Requirements

  • Law degree required
  • Current license to practice in California or Washington State
  • Minimum of 5 years law firm or equivalent in-house experience
  • Demonstrated experience in international employment law
  • Superior writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
