Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, technology (SaaS, cloud), professional services, and marketing agreements
• Partner with Procurement, IT, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to structure commercial relationships
• Review and analyze powers of attorney and trust documents to ensure proper authorization for homeowner transactions
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams on operational and legal questions
• Support third-party risk management (TPRM) and ensure compliance with consumer financial services regulations
• Support Legal Operations with contract management system implementation and process optimization
• Assist with litigation matters, commercial disputes, real estate, and regulatory examinations

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house department
• Experience in consumer financial services, fintech, mortgage lending, or a highly regulated industry
• Strong background in negotiating SaaS, cloud services, and vendor agreements
• Understanding of consumer financial services regulations (e.g., UDAP/UDAAP, FCRA)
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
