Credentialing Associate

Responsibilities

• Ensure all necessary documents such as licenses, contracts, and tax information are submitted to payors
• Act as the point of contact for resolving enrollment issues, rejections, or discrepancies
• Monitor and track revalidation deadlines for providers to prevent reimbursement disruptions
• Maintain records and provide reports on the status of payor enrollments
• Ensure timely re-attestation of CAQH profiles

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in credentialing and payor enrollment
• Knowledge of State Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans
• Proficiency with the PECOS system
• Experience working with major payors like UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in payer enrollment or healthcare administration (e.g., CPC)
• Previous experience working in a remote environment
