Crewing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end crewing function for all company vessels, ensuring competent and compliant staffing.
• Provide strategic oversight of crew planning and deployment to support safe and efficient project execution.
• Partner with Project Managers and Technical teams to forecast manpower requirements and manage project pipelines.
• Manage third-party manning agencies, including selection, evaluation, contract review, and performance auditing.
• Ensure strict governance over regulatory requirements, including STCW, visas, medical certifications, and training records.
• Oversee the Learning Management System (OLP) to maintain accurate training and compliance records.
• Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely delivery of crewing information for salary processing.
• Develop a proactive pool of pre-screened contractors to meet short-notice project demands.
• Support commercial tenders by providing technical crewing input and realistic staffing plans.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of marine seismic crewing structures.
• Proven experience leading crewing functions within seismic or marine environments.
• Deep understanding of vessel operations, offshore project cycles, and industry HSE requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global offshore regulatory requirements, including STCW and flag state rules.
• Proficiency in IT systems and applications.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to vessels worldwide and possess certification to travel offshore.
